Pamela Kay Hunt

Pamela Kay Hunt, age 60, of Albertville, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Charles Hunt, daughter, Carrie Brock (Will), son, Stephen Hunt (Kelsey), grandchildren, Bo Brock, Mollie Brock and Bryson Hunt and her father, Kenneth Colvin. She is preceded in death by her mother, Kay Colvin and brother, Greg Colvin. A Note from Charles and the kids I am writing this with a heavy heart this morning but we as a family, with long prayer and consideration for others, have made a decision on Pam Hunts arrangements. We have never had to deal with anything like what’s going on in our world today with the recent coronavirus situation and so we stopped and asked what Pam would want. We know she would want everyone to be safe because that’s the kind of person she was, caring about the well-being of others above herself and if you know her you would agree as well. We want to give everyone the opportunity to pay their respects, but at this time we have made the decision to have a closed funeral limited to immediate family only. With the outpouring messages on social media, we understand the love that everyone has for Mrs. Pam and we are aware of the fact that this will be a large gathering but we want to do this right and she wouldn’t want anyone to see this as a sad time and also would not want to put anyone at risk, so we will be having a private family service at this time but we will also be having a celebration of life ceremony at a later date to be announced when this virus situation is resolved for everyone to attend. We hope that you all will be with us as we celebrate the life of Pam. We will not remember this as a sad day because God is good, always. We will remember the life that touched so many other lives and celebrate with worship and a speaker on the effects of mental health and to give hope for those who suffer from it. Just like Pam would want. We hope you all will understand and respect the decision of the family at this time.
